The Hill Academy Partners with Canadian Soccer Legend Atiba Hutchinson to Launch Exclusive March Break Camp

Caledon, ON [October 30, 2024] - The Hill Academy is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with Canadian Soccer Legend Atiba Hutchinson to create an exclusive soccer camp for young athletes during March Break 2025. Taking place from March 10-14 at The Hill Academy’s state-of-the-art campus, this camp will offer a unique, intensive training experience led by one of Canada’s most celebrated soccer icons and an elite team of coaches.

 

The Atiba Hutchinson Soccer Camp At The Hill will provide rep soccer athletes born 2011, 2012 and 2013 with a rare opportunity to learn directly from Hutchinson, who brings over two decades of professional experience in top-tier European leagues and international competitions. Designed to help young players elevate their skills, the camp will focus on technical and tactical training, physical conditioning, and mental resilience—core components of Hutchinson’s own success on the field. Campers will also benefit from individualized coaching, group drills, and match simulations, gaining insight into the training methods that helped Hutchinson captain the Canadian National Team and excel at an international level.

As a fully immersive soccer camp, athletes will be excited to receive: 

  • High level coaching by Atiba Hutchinson and team at The Hill Academy

  • Puma Tracksuit, Athletic Uniform, Toque and Gloves with AH13 and The Hill branding

  • Daily lunch catered by Royal Ambassador Banquet Hall with daily meals of pasta, vegetables and chicken

  • Sports Psychologist and Nutrition Talk for Parents

  • Chalk Talk and Play reviews in classroom

  • Speed and strength raining by nationally certified strength and conditioning coach in the HillPride Performance Gym

  • Mental Training/Meditation practice with Sly Edwards – Child Sports Psychologist

  • Daily Five Pillar Training with a Focus on Ball Mastery, Daily Leadership conversations, Speed and condition training and Team Play Fundamentals

  • Final Day World Cup Tournament with Cool Prizes!

  • End of Camp Report Card to Highlight Areas of Improvement

 

As an advocate for youth sports, Hutchinson is passionate about inspiring and nurturing the future stars of Canadian soccer. The March Break Camp will take place at The Hill Academy’s campus in Caledon, Ontario, known for its top-tier sports facilities and innovative approach to student-athlete development. Registration is now open, with limited spaces available. Young athletes interested in participating are encouraged to secure their spots early for this one-of-a-kind camp experience.

About Atiba Hutchinson

Atiba Hutchinson is a distinguished Canadian professional soccer player, who is Canada’s all-time caps and six-time Canada Soccer Player of the Year. His quiet brilliance has made him one of Canada’s greatest athletes and players of all time. He is renowned for his versatility and leadership on and off the field.


Hutchinson's career has taken him across various leagues and countries, including stints in Sweden with Örebro SK, in Denmark with FC København, and in Turkey with Beşiktaş J.K., where he has achieved significant success and club titles.
